ACP National College Media Conference Presentation

Myself and three other staff members from ENYE, a bilingual publication, presented a workshop about reporting "Beyond the Raids"—telling stories that are more than just the immigration narratives that are currently dominating news coverage. We hoped to demonstrate to college journalists that Latino and immigrant communities are more than the policies set against them. We also equipped those who attended our workshop with best practices when it comes to reporting on sensitive or confidential information surrounding status.
